Symbols have been used traditionally throughout time to represent an idea or to tell a story. Our Kumani West African Adinkra symbol depicts the image of a "chain link" and stands for unity and human relations. It is a reminder to contribute back to the community because strength lies in joining together. We chose this symbol because our Kumani Fair Trade philosophy supports equality and giving fairly for services and goods. It was developed by women to empower women around the world. |
