Kumani believes in the principles of Fair Trade: The women of the Fair Trade cooperatives from which our ingredients are produced earn better living wages to provide  proper nutrition, health care and education to their families.  Simply put, Fair Trade means paying producers a higher rate while implementing a greater level of social and environmental standards. The ultimate goal is economic sustainability and self sufficiency.
